Dr. Jorge Martinez

Dr. Jorge Martinez, is an infectious disease doctor in the department of medicine at Queen's University.  He has 20 years of experience in clinical care and research in the area of HIV.

Dr. Bradley Stoner

Dr Bradley Stoner, is a physician and anthropology current director of The STI division in the CDC in the US. Dr Stoner led the project as director of the departments of public health science at Queen's University.  He brings expertise in research methods, STI knowledge and clinical experience as an infectious disease doctor.

Dr. Hugh Guan

Dr Hugh Guan is the Associate Medical Officer of Health at the South East Health Unit. Dr Guan is a public health doctor, who has led the delivery of PrEP services for seven years in a regional sexual health clinic.  He brings his expertise in public health research and clinical care of people living with HIV.

Dr. Pilar Camargo

Dr Pilar Camargo is an associate professor in the school of Nursing at Queen's University. She is a qualitative researcher with a strong focus on social determinants and participatory approaches, addressing needs of equity deserving populations. She bring her social and qualitative lens to the team  to strengthen the rigour of our work.

Dr. Nancy Dalgarno

Dr. Nancy Dalgarno is the Director of Education Scholarship with the Office of Professional Development and Educational Scholarship (OPDES), She brings to the project her experience conducting needs assessments, educational research, program evaluations, and systematic/scoping reviews in the areas of health sciences and global health.

Dr. Nicholas Cofie

Dr Nicolas Cofie is with the Office of Professional Development and Educational Scholarship at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). He has a multidisciplinary background with degrees in Demography/ Population Studies, Sociology, and Political Science. He brings expertise in collection of data, survey design, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, as well in the development of PrEP training modules for primary care providers.

Beatriz Alvarado

Dr. Beatriz Alvarado is a physician with a PhD in public health. She is a adjuct assistant professor in the department of Public Health Science at Queen's University. She has lead the collection of data of the project. She brings to the project her expertise in collection of data, analysis and written reports and publications.

Oluwatoyosi Kuforiji, PhD

Dr. Oluwatoyosi Kuforiji is a Health Education Research Associate with the Office of Professional Development and Educational Scholarship in the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) at Queen's University.  She has expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research methodology with experience in conducting health education research (e.g., systematic/scoping reviews in health sciences, needs assessments and program evaluation).”

Dr. Emma Nagy

Dr. Emma Nagy is a Research Associate with the South East Health Unit. She holds a PhD in Health Promotion and brings expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Dr. Nagy was responsible for the collection and analysis of data for the study.

Carmela Rapino

Carmela is a Master’s student in Epidemiology who joined the team to evaluate the delivery of PrEP services in a sexual health clinic. She has extracted and analyzed data and has helped with writing our publications. She is now a medical student at TMU.
