Situational analysis tools

Interview Guide for PCPs: This interview guide was developed by our group based on the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR). It can be used to identify individual, structural, and organizational determinants of intervention adoption. In our study, we applied it to examine determinants of PrEP adoption (see our publications section).

PrEP Readiness Organizational Tool: This tool is an adapted version of existing readiness instruments and is grounded in organizational readiness theories. It can be used to assess how prepared a clinic or organization is to deliver PrEP services. To date, we have not yet formally evaluated this tool, but we have used it to start discussions with sexual clinic managers and staff.

Survey for PCPs: This survey was designed by our research team using a combination of previous questionnaires and our own experiences with PrEP. Our publications demonstrate its pertinence. The survey can be used to assess different CFIR components, particularly individual and intervention characteristics.
